A quick question - does the vRS have front brake pad wear sensors? A part number would be good if anyone has it to hand?

Mine doesnt, but mines a plain 53 Reg VRS & not a VRS SE.

Fabia's that are on variable servicing do have wear sensors. This is because it can be up to 2 years (20k miles) between services when they are inspected. However I don't think the mk1 Fabia vRS was ever fitted with variable servicing only fixed (annually/10k).

 

It doesn't matter if the pads come with the wire, all you do is cut it off

As said, no mk1 fabia has wear indicators.

I know you did. I was led to believe some non-vRS's did.

 

It doesn't matter to the OP as he has a vRS and I wouldn't think the SE will be any different. The only difference with the SE,  the callipers are painted red, not green.
