I think it's been mentioned before but you could buy a 'regular' vrs, get a retrim and spray it for the price of an SE

on a side note since weve hijacked this thread anyway, im going to fix my wifes old fabia badge i replaced earlier in the year onto my daughters electric car

Now the SE only has a different colour, cruise control and leathers doesn't it?

You've got the Fox Special Edition haven't you?

Now the SE only has a different colour, cruise control and leathers doesn't it?

My car had cruise control, leather and a 6 cd changer. Now if the SEs had xenons and maxi dot then they would be worth the premium

even my crappy old Elegance came with heated seats for crying out loud Much better in the cold on the bum and the cloth doesn't burn your arse in mid july

They also had blackout privacy glass in the back. And the leather seats are individually numbered.

The only 3 options that are REALLY hard to retrofit are xenons, ESP and Maxidot. Everything else is pretty straightforward.

But it's all a bit irrelevant really. If you want an SE, nothing else will do. And so you'll have to pay a premium. Good luck to anyone willing to do that. I'm just happy that people love these cars as much as I do.

The key is being patient and waiting.

Anyone can go out and throw money at a car because it's considered to be desirable.

 

But look in the classified section on this site (where I may go from time to time... ) and there is an SE with Mid 70k on the clock advertised at £5,100 now after no interest and a few price drops.

 

Advertised, not sold at.

Clearly more than the part exchange price of an SE too.

I should know, I part exchanged one a few months back!
