MonteCarlo headlights on 2011 VRS

Featured Replies

Hello, I ve just bought a pair of these and then realized that the dipped/high beam share the same bulb located inside the projector. OEM VRS 2011headlights use two different H7 bulbs for dipped/high beams. Does that mean that I have to modify the cabling, or they are plug&play? My H7 xenon kit for the dipped beam can be used or it needs to be replaced? Any kind of help is welcomed. ThanX.

I'm not 100% sure about the wiring but I think there will be a problem. There are two different looms on the Vrs and the monte lights have a shutter system on the single h7 to activate the main beam.

Your zenon h7 kit will fit in the housing but I doubt the wiring from the car will carry the signal/power to move the shutter.

The light output on the monte unit is truly shocking you will notice a huge difference. For £15 you could try flyeyes or spivision over the Vrs units?

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
