I've searched the forums, read loads and and confused.

I need to add bt to my 1z elegance. I've read up and it seems I can use a fiscon+ with my bolero but as I was about to order I've come to learn something. From what I read when using a2dp is front speakers only, presumably the oem retrofit would use all 8 speakers.

So the oem unit sounds superior, granted for my car that had std steering wheel and std cluster for an elegance no mfa etc I need to get something that works with the olero lcd.

I've read there are various bluetooth units some only work with mfa, some need red clusters and some need a steering wheel with controls.

Also not all bt support all phones rasp etc , and even if the ones there are differ ent versions ending in C E F etc.

So bottom line after loads of reading I know I need a loom but really confused which is the best bluetooth receiver that controls all Android phone things. By that I mean steam music. View contacts etc. Can someone please advise? .

each (all?) have variants like M/C/F but no idea if that matters?, later letteris newer model perhaps

 

finally the fiscon plus is the single fiscon unit that does it all except doesn't work with all speakers :(

FL, with nothing under the driver seat, std (no maxidot or red cluster) nothing on the steering wheel (standard)

Ok without maxidot you are limited to modules that pair from the phone end. 7p6 j k l up to n as you have seen, or 5k0 d or above, should be fine.

They connect in hfp mode which works with all phones. No premium services such as text readout or wifi but pretty sound and read phone book fine.
