Well finally heard from SUK, again and they have stuck with their original decision, and concluded it is wear and tear, not covered under warranty!

Not impressed at all!

does anyone have the part number for the seat cover with red stitching, as I may just attempt it myself

That's not good news - I haven't had chance to contact them yet, but I hope they don't give me the same answer. It's not on, in my opinion.

I agree, but they they have stood by their original decision, when I escalated the complaint.

 

you may get a result if the mileage is not as high, mine is now 47k
