Featured Replies

Threads have been raised about this several weeks ago, from several different articles, in various mags,

Or may be postings in other threads I believe.

Nice thought though.

Now waiting for the real thing to announced

Some saying it'll have 4x4 and some not.

I hope it does.

It would make it different to the leon boss :)

But would that go against what seems to be a VAG directive that Skoda will not out do Seat/VW/Audi in the sporty car area?

I would rather have more quality interior than more horsepower...

Then im guessing it wont be for you then... ;)

If its awd then id be very interested. If its only fwd then its got to have the e-diff setup from the Golf GTI PP and Leon Cupra 280 at least. :)

I think Skoda have to build it just to keep up. I'd prefer 4wd providing there wasn't buckets of understeer with that. If the diff works then fine.

It is what the MK3 Octavia needs, my MK2 Tsi is all paid off and the MK3 just didn't offer much difference to me when I drove it, however a 280Bhp Vrs most definatly would !

I am one of the undecided (what car to get next) at the minute and it would be a strong option.

If 280 bhp and awd  B) . A dsg version would be very nice .... but I am guessing that'll be over 30k ?

I cant see how they could market it at over 30k bearing in mind what the Golf R costs with that drivetrain, 20bhp more and a higher quality interior. My guess would be circa 28k :)
