Sat Nav Head Unit Fascia Help Please - Manual Climate

Featured Replies

Hi all; new to Octavia ownership with my recently purchase Octavia VRS Mk2. The car I bought was rather basic spec but was the rite deal for me so thought I would buy it and then upgrade the bits I wanted myself.

First thing was the stereo as wanted nav and phone connection. I bought a Kenwood 520vbt from eBay

And it came with the below adapter which I knew wasn't going to be correct

as I don't have the full climate option, mine is as per below

I went to Skoda at the weekend thinking it would be easy to get a fascia to suit only to be told by the guy that he wouldn't be able to find the part as all they can do is look for items which came standard on my vehicle. Was the same when I was trying to get a price for the jumbo box and armrest!!!

Could anyone tell me what the part number is I am after or point me in the direction of an adapter (im pretty sure normal double din wont work as the unit is shaped unlike normal double din?)

Thanks

The part is available, but only in black, so you'll need to spray (with a flexible paint) it if you reeeeaaally want silver, or leave it black (which actually looks much better once it's in place).

It should only cost around a fiver from a dealer, there's been loads of threads on this over the years, there must be a part number round here somewhere...

Looks like this could be the right part no.: 1Z0858069B9B9
