Which would you choose - given the money and the space to keep it??

I liked this comment "almost flight-worthy condition"; according the the mechanics I talked to at the last Harrier air display, they regularly sent them out in "almost flight-worthy condition"; The exact words were "brim the oil reservoirs and pray".

Could have valeted the interior, never sell it like that :p

Needs moar lows bruv.

They don't even have park assist :p

Wonder if I could adapt the cockpit instrumentation into the old Fabia...LOL

DREAM ON...LOL

I believe there might be an empty carrier with free parking somewhere in Rosyth

That's just APC and tanks

Silverstone's auction catalogues look quite interesting  - they have  couple of jet engines (avon and olympus ) for sale as well as some car related  stuff  (including cars).

I've been a much better boy and with whats gone on in my life so far this year a deserve a wee pressie :)

And it's a 4 squadron Harrier like when I were a lad and my Dad was at RAF Gutersloh

Depends what they mean by almost flight worthy.

Will almost get off the ground, or will almost get a permit to fly.

I'd have the harrier myself.

Me too, I was just imagining parking it at the supermarket and popping in for some milk

Me too, apparently we would only need some jump leads to get her going!

The Harrier apparently went for 92K, seems like a bargain. I bet when they were in service that would have bought you a very small box of spares.
