Skip track on MDI with MFSW

Featured Replies

When I play music with my MDI connection using a USB stick I have found that the skip track button does not work.  It does, however, work to skip tracks on the MDI connected to an iPod, or on the Columbus HDD. When streaming phone content, the skip track functionality seems to depend on the phone.

Do others with MDI in a pre FL with MFSW have the issue of skip track failing on a USB stick or does it appear to be a fault?

Thanks

Hi Adam

IIRC mine allows the track to skip. I'll check on the way home and let you know.

Thank you

Mine works. Use it a lot as I have a lot of 'iffy' music on my usb.

Thanks. Not sure why mine doesn,t then, definitely not a coding thing as there are no options that detailed and no faults either. Hardly a problem but my anal nature objects....

Yep, mine's fine.... Sorry!

Could be that the MDI needs a firmware upgrade, but thats a pain in the backside to carryout but you already have the correct lead.

Thought mine was up to date but there appears to be a newer one there now so might give it a go. The MDI kit is only a year old so should be suitable. Thanks
