Blue Flame vs Milltek

Featured Replies

Full System - anyone compared the two - Blue flame is much cheaper I believe ?

I do believe that blueflame is cheaper.

I think this has been asked before, have you tried a search of the forum?

From what I've been told there is not alot in the performance

I like the Miltek tails but I hear Bluflame will put a variety of tails on. I actually like the standard tails.

Mike, yes I have searched - couldnt find any comparisons of performance. Plenty of good comments about both.

I dont have the cash now anyway, but would like to know.

In reality, I doubt there is a significant difference in performance. They certainly sound similar. I guess the Milltek name is just more established so they can charge the higher prices... still very happy with mine though.

dont forget blueflame make exhausts for TVR & lotus as standard fit jobbies, or so they say

I guess it's like the whole jabba/revo/amd choice, all kinda the same just down to cost and personal choice

ummm what do you mean by 'or so they say', mike ?

tbh, i might be swayed by going for a Blueflame zorst.. having seen some of the welding "skillz" that milltek have  - shocking.

ive been told firsthand from a tuner himself, that the blueflame zorsts are better made from a quality point of view.

well that is what they say on their website. I didn't really mean anything by that :o sorry if I made anyone think otherwise

I'd go for blueflame. Cheaper and based not far from my house.

Lazy bones :D

It's a good choice though ;)

thanks for the advice guys.

now just ned to save enough. hopefully early next year :)

I have a Blue Flame exhaust and I think its great (well i would!)

Mine was one of the first fitted to the Fabia vRS and it wasnt as cheap as they are now - mine was even part of a Jabbasport group buy. :(

Weld quality is superb - the chaps at jabba were well impressed with it.

I got bored with the tailpipe on mine so got powerflow to change the tailpiipe.

Its not much more noisy than standard when your'e pootling around, but put your foot down and its quite meaty sounding and slightly throaty. I get all sorts of whooshes and hisses too! :D

Tailpipe looks good though

With blue flame can you specify what tail pipe design you want?
