How to remove road paint?

I'd start with a good tar and glue remover like Autosmart Tardis or Autofinese Oblitarate. May need a couple of hits but also try and a hard piece of flat plastic to try and lever some off it away.

You could ring the local council who own the road, speak to the highways department and ask them as they should know what they used and no doubt there's some instructions on the product on how to get it off.

This is something that frightens the life out of me when I see spilt paint on the road, no idea if it is wet or dry either do you. Not anything 'too' abrasive

And avoid t cut as your paint looks metallic.

At least it is only on the lower door sill, could be much more obvious locations.

May I ask what road markings were blue?

if the T&G remover doesnt work then try claying it - clay was originally developed to remove overspray in bodyshops so may well help there. Challenge might be that it looks like its on the lower sill where its slightly textured, so you may need a little extra care. I also had great success with Bilt Hamber Surfex HD on stuff like this as well - trick is to take your time and soak the areas to soften them. You might also find IPA helps as that softens paint but take care to make sure you only really work it on the paint you want to remove!
