Thought I stumbled into the MK1 Fabia section :D  :D

 

If it were, the thread would have mentioned an M3 or the infamous Mustang by now. :happy:

You'd know if it was in the fabia section as every post would be the civic wasn't trying or was in the wrong gear.

I had a civic try and pass me so I kept him behind me as we approached a roundabout and then we had it off down the dual carriageway. I was in 3rd going round the roundabout so as soon as I came off I was on full boost and let it pull all the way to 70 (it had average speed cameras) then pulled into the inside lane. I'd not pulled a massive lead but I did pull away from him. According to most in the fabia section it wasn't a fair race because the civic didn't come off the roundabout in 1st so it was in vtec. While I admit they are good cars I think people make them out to be better than what they are and while the vtec is a brilliant bit of kit it is majorly flawed. I'd have a octavia over the civic every time and having driven all 3 octavias my dad hadand quite a few civics I can quite believe they will pull slightly on a type r
