DSG issue

Featured Replies

I have 2011vrs 2.0Tdi with DSG I was driving using paddles and I was going down the gearbox heading towards a roundabout so got to 4th saw a gap and put my foot down and it was like I was in neutral just raving so I dropped a gear again and was fine.

Any ideas or just a random glitch

You can't beat a bit of  'raving' as far as I'm concerned! ;)

However, hopefully the next answer will be more constructive.....

Faulty clutch pack, or mechatronic box. What millage has it done, and when was the last DSG Oil change?

Had exactly the same thing last year.

I would drop gears and it would act as if in neutral, just revving until manual intervention was made. Was dangerous at junctions and the like.

A DSG software update cured everything. Make an enquiry with your local dealership.
