New car forces sale of my much loved VRS. I'm only the second owner and have really enjoyed owning this car for the last few years. No expense has been spared on it's maintenance. It's advertised elsewhere and I'm asking for £3750 £3250 £3000 £2800 NOW SOLD.

 

 

 

The highlights

• Full Service History
• Taxed to March 31 2015
• MOT to 22 October 2014
• Last service 31 May 2014
• Original factory specification - NO MODS - very good condition for year
• V5C, MOT documents present
• 2 Keys
• Cam belt replaced when I bought the car approx 61,000 miles
• Alloys reconditioned within the last year though the rear passenger one now has a slight scuff
• 4 new Hankook Ventus V12 EVO tyres fitted with the last year
• 80,430 miles (this will go up as daily commute is about 20 miles return)
• AC works really well
• Very tidy interior, no holes, rips or tears in the upholstery
• VRS mats front and rear
• JVC DAB Double Din Radio, original aerial replaced with DAB/FM unit

The niggles

• Passenger side door mirror no longer heats up (one that does heat but is in broken case is included with sale)
• Slight scuff on rear passenger alloy (I have two spare alloys if you are interested?)
• Drivers side air vent has a broken vane
• If we are being really picky the clutch pedal chrome cover has fallen off and needs sticking back on

Any inspection welcome but no tyre kickers or time wasters please. Car can be viewed by appointment daytime in Hemel Hempstead or evenings in St Albans.

Not much interest, am I asking too much?

If you hold out it may sell, but for an 11 year old car I would say £3000 is more realistic, despite the condition.

Is that an offer? ;-)

 

I was going by auto trader for similar cars, I am open to offers though.

Just looking at your pictures quite closely is there rust on the rear arches?

Just been outside to look! There are two pea size bubbles on the rear of the off-side wheel arch and one pea size one on the near-side which is slightly raised but not bubbled through. 

 

The car is in very good condition for age. I'm happy to haggle on the price.

I will be in St Albans visiting family tomorrow and might be able to come have a look. Where are you based? Would PM but not yet able to for some reason.
