Featured Replies

Does anyone know of any uprated or heavy duty tie rods for the mk1 fabia?

Only aware of the meyle heavy duty drop links. Not sure if they do other hd parts

Track rods? Jeez man, what are you DOING to them, I can't tell you the last time I had to change one, are you sure your car is straight?

If you're going through them that quick I'd suggest putting a new/another rack on and see if that cures it!! You shouldn't be putting new track rods or track rod ends on yearly

Ive thought that but i am doing like 40k yearly so just assumed im wearing them out

I do the same mileage a year and mine are fine. When I was testing a lot of vauxhall a used to get play in the track rods but never seen it on the vag stuff. I'd go for a rack and I think that will stop you eating through them

Balls. I'll look into that then

So as per my original question, there isnt such a thing? Lol

I really don't understand how a new rack would stop him eating through trackrods - the trackrods on a new rack will be exactly the same. Never heard of anyone eating through trackrods anyway - seems very odd!
