Couldn't resist another Vrs

Featured Replies

I had a mk 1 Octavia Vrs a year ago, which I adored with all my heart. In December it was written off an idiot in an Audi A3, who pulled out a junction without looking. I was devastated.

When I got the money from the crash, there weren't any decent examples around, so I bought an Integra Type R instead. Don't get me wrong, it's a great. A real hardcore machine with a great engine, but something was always missing.

I realised what it was. The Octavia fit me like a glove. A car is an expression of your personality, an extension of yourself. The teg just didn't suit me, but my old Skoda did. So I got rid of the Honda, am back behind the wheel of another Octavia Vrs and I couldn't be happier.

Planning on doing a lot to it too. Would welcome any performance related suggestions, looking to build a sleeper car out of it

Welcome back. Get some pictures up of your new purchase :)

The unfortunate fate of the first :(

Oh dear but welcome back to a vrs best car I have owned so far very pleased, with mine being the estate as well it's quite the underdog and understated to bits, people just don't expect an estate skoda disappear from them ha ha

That's what I've always loved about them. Very understated cars with plenty of pull under the bonnet, well put together , practical and you don't see ricers driving them. In my mind the best car, all things considered, you can buy

Ha ha just surprised a focus st there he wasn't expecting me to disappear he followed me to ask what was in it his face dropped when I told him a 1.8t until I popped the bonnet and he seen the front mount and that ha ha proper stealth no one expects a thing
