Why pay gtechniq prices when kitchen spray will do the same job

I always buy APC at Sainsburys too ... Far far cheaper than any advertised on a online automotive products site and just as effective

Thanks for sharing buddy !

I for one would rather put money in the pocket of a UK company who are at the forefront of innovation in terms of detailing and car care. As opposed to a supermarket giant who profit millions. But hey, that's just my thoughts.

For the same product?

Lol...everyone to their own

I won't pay premium prices if I don't have to

did the APC will kill it?

how ratio of APC per water?

The ratio's are stated on the link you shared.....

"We recommend 10:1 for exterior or 20:1 for interior"

This link below - should take you to the dilution chart in the "Guide" section

I can confirm the anti bacterial APC works a treat - Thanks for the suggestion

Chris

This would be what I'd go for.

On the convertible roofs I've used anti bacterial kitchen spray after a good clean, and it has worked a treat.

Totally agree - great advice Neil.

I'm reliably informed that the Sainsbury's APC product line isnt so great on the anti-bacterial front.

That particular roof needed re-treated very recently - so best to spend the money on the correct product.

I would be careful of using kitchen sprays as they can damage plastics, I used some on a windowsill painted with wate rbased gloss and it turned tacky like bubble gum. I would not chance it.

Interestingly enough, I'm getting exactly the same problem on the top edge of the foglights at the front (Fabia III).  This seems to have a built in water trap where all the green stuff can accumulate, but it's so much more difficult to clean.
