MDI cable.

Featured Replies

Can I use the Audi Music Interface cable from my previous A3 in my Fabia ?

Tried it today, message came up initialising but nothing happened. Disconnected it to prevent damage. MDI socket seemed loose in the box too. Is this normal ?

I cant imagine it being any different. The skoda and VW cables are the same, i know that much.

I should have thought itd be fine tbh.

They are supposed to, but not all did...

I thought the MDI cables were the same as AMI, I'm looking at getting AMI for my Audi and looking for cables they seem to list the Skoda Range as well as Audi as being compatible.

I've a couple of cables in the house. A USB one and a iPhone one (old style connector). Free to a good home if you send me your address and I can find them!
