Next question

Hids i hate yellow bulbs. Cant see at night and they look gash imo i know the car uses h7 bulbs and that i want 6k colour but do i need 35w or 55w kit and does it have to be canbus or not ?

Cheers

51mm for standard pipe work or if going front mount, 57mm.

Hids? Do it properly with correct headlights! The projector headlights will use D2S kits

Don't look into them or it'll affect your eyesight!

Yeah don't do Hid's unless you get projector lamps for the safety if others :)

Haha didnt think of it like that

Any will do 35w or 55w they are the same really

I dont fully agree with whats being said about HIDs

The problem is people using H7 HIDs - my car had them when i got it (2nd hand) and i was getting flashed, blinding ppl and generally felt like an idiot!

But they do H7R HIDs now - designed specifically for reflector headlights - I've had them in months and had no problems (where as before I'd get flashed every drive!)

Anyone else used H7Rs or have an opinion on them? :)

Hmm they look alright Tbf

With regards to the EGR delete, make sure you get the correct one for your engine, as there are 2 engine types - ASZ and BLT. Yours will be an ASZ and will have a hose connection on the end. The BLT one has flanges on either side, as it sits between the inlet and the anti-stutter valve.

Right I didn't know that. Good job I haven't ordered it yet haha will look. What's the best one to get darkside? Or is their others

Yours will almost certainly be an ASZ considering it's a 2004 plate. If you need to check them look on top of the cambelt cover - there will be one of 2 codes there: ASZ or BLT.

The EGR delete is basically just a pipe with the correct flange welded onto the end. Darkside do charge a lot for theirs - although I'm sure it is a quality bit of kit. Allard also do one. The option that a lot of people on here have chosen (myself included) is the group buy that Joel seems to regularly run. I'm not sure if he's running one at the moment or not, but the pipes are very cheap and good quality :)  Check out the Group Buys sub-forum...

EGR group buy is up and running. Could do with a few people to get the ball rolling :D

Thanks Alex ;)
