Enjoy the car.

Are you able to run it on Super Unleaded, or will it just be getting Regular Unleaded?

Hi George

Regular unleaded I think.  There's 3 petrol stations in Kirkwall and I'll check out the 2 I don't normally use but I reckon it'll be plain old regular unleaded.

On the plus side it wont be having any remaps or attempted power upgrades as it is certainly lively enough for the roads we have with the police we have.  And given the huge investment in the new average speed cameras on the A9 I think the Super Unleaded I will definitely be putting in when I go to the mainland wont be needed for reasons of extra power.

If anybody has sold a Twincharger that was a bad one please if possible,

name and shame it and save others from getting a Lemon.

& if anyone has one in Warranty & it is an oil user, why not get it properly fixed while you can,

rather than land others with a Failing Engine. ??

Not nice selling ones with issues and causing others a heap of trouble.  JMHO.

Well this doesn't help when it comes to selling one but I can understand the intentions. Mine is listed for sale and is completely honest. But because of the forum and people trawling through threads it's scaring people off when in reality my car is one of the good ones. Would I even put my car for sale here if it wasn't? Sy's was a bad one so didn't subject the forum to it and traded it in.

As a result of this I've had to go to a new level of pedantry to detail the ad, even referencing threads where I've had oil checks done at 15k, how it's now good, had tracking done, what I've had changed and when then priced accordingly.

Do you forget your posts before the breather mod on oil use. Do skoda pay for breather mods on none oil user?

I've forgotten nothing. The fact I've detailed the for sale thread with links back to threads from when I did a 10000 mile review, at 15k I took it in to investigate, how its fine now, even down to the thread where I asked what camber is normal in relation to tyre wear. That's above and beyond what a normal seller would do.

As you know full well, breather pipes are done under warranty.

Are they for any car even without failing an oil consumption test? No I never knew that.

The oil at the time I considered excessive but I knew of the breather pipes. I asked at Dealer who checked then changed them along with an ECU update. All under warranty.
