I've removed the seat back, seat base and metal cover, where do I go from here?

Unplug the electrical connection

 

remove both fuel lines (need to press in the plastic lugs)

 

Then see that large black plastic ring, that is screwed down to hold fuel pump in place.

You  need to get a large flat screwdriver and a mallet and tap that ring  anti clock wise to undo.

you will have a large rubber washer sealing it.

 

BE careful when removing pump as it will still hold fuel(place rag over the seat area).

 

You also kinda need to wiggle pump sideways to get it out.
