PR code for 'Rough Road Pack'?

Featured Replies

I know 2UB = Rough Road Design, which seems to refer to the Off-Road button being fitted.

But what is the code that refers to the Rough Road Pack (as in enhanced underbody protection) on a Yeti?

Related to that, I've read the thread about retro-fitting the Rough Road Pack so am aware if that and the part numbers, but I can't find any indication as to price of these parts or getting the whole lot fitted. Any ideas anyone?

Even a ball-park figure would do as I'm struggling to find a used Yeti with it fitted and with the rest of my spec.

£200? £500? £1000? More?

Well I've put all the codes from the sticker into the factory code decipher tool and none come back as rough road package?

Thank you.

I presume you have the enhanced underbody protection?

And that there is no PR Code on your vehicle for this?

Do you have 2UB listed (and an off-road button)?

Yes I have the underbody protection rough road package, and the off road button. 2UB is one of the codes I've got, and the only on that mentions anything to do with off road.

Thanks for clarifying.

I've not seen anyone with a code for the underbody protection, but 2UB seems to be linked to the off-road button.

I know it's not true, but you'd think the off-road button & pack would go together... But there you go.

Here's what I posted previously:

I always assumed that 2UB was the rough road package (which I specified). Seems a bit odd to me to think it's simply the off-road button. But if it's not 2UB then it's presumably one of the other codes that came back as not found.

I agree it does seem odd.

But several people and vehicles I've checked have 2UB on the spec sheet but don't have the underbody protection, only the off-road button.

My thinking is that 2UB refers to the button (and HHC, etc.) but not the protection which appears not to have a code.

The codes listed on the build sticker in the boot and service book are only a handful of those applicable to the vehicle (believe the dealer can possible print the whole list off but they tend not to admit to this as there's a lot of them).

When ordering the Rough Road Pack I've got it down as PK4 but that doesn't come up on the decoder, so I suspect its either dealer order code or more likely one of the many unseen codes as mentioned above.

Anyway the 2UB code is possibly a ride height code, as our previous Octy III had the following;

2UF = Chassis with increased ride height

Although ending in F the ride height of the Octy was not the same as the Yeti.

Be interesting to see what a Yeti Greenline has listed down :wonder:

Don't even need to decode anything now TP. Part of the system will show all factory options, in plain english with the relevant code but ONLY options rather than the list that is in the service book/boot. Will also give history on said car (done by Skoda and logged) right down to the owner, again, only if these details are submitted. If anyone has the RRP factory fitted, feel free to PM me and I can check the code

Thanks for this useful info as always :) Take it this is all part of the move away from service books in the car and stored on a Skoda database instead :wonder:

Back to the option sticker and I've noticed the odd customer option code does come up, for example our Spaceback has the Sportpack option and the following codes which relate to it are on the cars sticker;

6FM = Components with special surface appearance

3FG = Glass sun roof

H8J = Tires 215/40 R17 V

Q4H = Comfort sports seats, front

What would you need to know in order to do this?

Is this something a used car dealer (non-Skoda) would be able to access?

Seems like the move away from service books is going to make it harder for buyers to be able to get access to some / much of this information.

Would the dealers be prepared to look up the details and provide it (for a fee I guess) for a vehicle they were not selling?

Not at all chaps, its been like this at least since I've been here and the site that 'de codes' the codes will still be able to do its job as you still get your build sticker in the boot and (we pop it) in the wallet.

Components with special surface? WTF? Pardon my abbreviated french.

You mean you don't have an answer to this :rofl:

I can only assume it refers to the black mirror caps, as opposed to body colour and the black 'sticky back plastic' used to hide the body colour in front of the spoiler on the top of the rear hatch door. Also might include the extended lower glass line on the hatch too but I suspect that might have it's own code :wonder:
