Hey all.

 

Just bought a 06 Octavia to find that there is a problem with the central locking. When I unlock the car with the key fob, only the driver door opens. The other three doors cannot be opened from the outside until I unlock them with the unlock button on the center console under the handbrake.

 

Anyone got any ideas? Any more information I should supply?

Try the button twice, also is there a spare key sounds like its been set like this my keys are the same.

 

one only opens drivers door unless i push button in twice the other one opens all doors and boot with one push of the button.

That's it exactly. I just tried it an it's working. I was worried for a while there that I was going to be caught for a big fault in my car. Much happier with my purchase now.

Rosboy, if you have a maxidot display (Shows big picture of car if door is open etc.) you can program it through there also

Quick update. I checked the maxidot display...it doesn't give me an option to adjust the central locking setting unfortunately. Thanks for suggestion though.
