N249 Valve

Featured Replies

Hi everyone ! I have some questions about n249 valve. I have skoda octavia 1.8T AUM and recently check engine light lit. After a Vag com scan there were some faulty codes :

16490 - Manifold / Barometric Pressure Sensor (G71) / (F96): Implausible Signal
        P0106 - 35-10 -  -  - Intermittent
17608 - Boost Pressure Control Valve (N249): Mechanical Malfunction
        P1200 - 35-10 -  -  - Intermittent
16622 - Manifold Pressure / Boost Sensor (G31): Signal too High
        P0238 - 35-10 -  -  - Intermittent
17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)
        P1297 - 35-00 -  -
but before that there was only 17608 faulty.
I couldn't find new valve so i bypass it and remove n249 valve. Althought is not conected anywhere exept with the connector there is 17608 faulty after i cleaned it. 16490 and 17705 has gone but 16622 remain. My question is is there some negatives of removing n249 and is 16622 map sensor faulty ? Do you know why 17608 appears again after n249 is remove but still connected.
Sorry for my English :)
