Anyone on the forum from Ireland know if the Columbus has DAB?...I notice on the configurator DAB is seperate and doesn't seem to blank out when Columbus is chosen...Not a show stopper but just curious

Not from Ireland but spec shouldn't change. Columbus has dab. Was a prerequisite for me.

Can't comment with any authority on Irish spec, but my European spec (Luxembourg), which I think is closer to Irish than UK spec, has Columbus, but not DAB - was an option, but not one I added.

 

No model over here had DAB as standard (although might be different with 2015MY spec), but its swings and roundabouts, we don't get DAB, but do get lots of other things as standard, so pays your money, takes your choice.

DAB doesn't necessarily come with Columbus as stated above.

Thanks all..Did a bit of digging on skoda.ie and found out that DAB is optional on Columbus

But at least you can order traffic sign recognition, which we can't in the UK.

Here in Spain DAB is a separate option from the Columbus. I don't think we'll order it because I'm not sure what the coverage is like here.

We have a set with the Columbus+Lane Assist+sign recognition+light assist so it works out quite well!

Dab must be part of the Elegance spec then, as I didn't spec it just columbus.

Are you in Ireland or Spain?

It is standard for the UK market.

All UK spec cars get Bolero, DAB and Bluetooth. From SE spec up we also get Voice Control (though is utter garbage). Some EU markets dont get any of this as standard, some variants still get no touchscreen Dance and Swing HU's.

People may moan that we dont get the best range of options over here in the UK but in fairness every model does get a half decent standard spec.

I agree with that, you have more as standard in general in the UK. Until very recently the different driving selections weren't available as standard! The first time we went for a quote we had to have that specced!
