My offside rear door lock has recently started buzzing. The locks have always had a double click, but this is now a very audible buzz from that one door.

In itself it's not a problem, but I'm concerned it may be a pre-warning of lock failure.

Any suggestions?

Never happened to anybody else?

That was mine a couple of years ago.

 

Eventually it stopped working. Luckily while it was unlocked otherwise I'd never have been able to get the door open.

I had to replace the lock mechanism.
