Wayne's Cars: Luke (4ws) + VW Corrado VR6

Thanks for calling In Wayne

Yes... Due to the rust patches and the spoiler...it does need acre spray

It will look good too

I reckon you can get a new drivers seat too from an online dealer

Yup! :-)

Will leave internals alone (apart from creature comforts like new stereo etc) - else I would need to spend £1000s and Luke will only be worth a fraction of that on the market.

Budget is £2000.

I still need change for next acquisition

AND deposit towards a house!

- just the unknown oil leak (under engine) + steering rack loose?

- i will get new plates from Halfrauds

2. Due to book her in for a full re-spray (keyed, one coat paint, laquer) end of Sept

3. Refurb wheels at The Wheel Specialist

4. SORN from October (Tax refund)

5. While SORN -

Tis the plan anyway ....

If I can help in any way...Let me know

Time will be very limited, Chris!

Body shop ultra busy - if i can get it done 3rd week of Sept -

Then have time for the alloy refurb and your expert sealer/wax protection for hibernation ! :-)

Else will have to wait til Easter!

Looking forward to having a day with it Wayne

Soft Honda Paint

Will have to get some light cut polish...Scholl S30 on a medium pad and see what that does

Yup :-)

No rust!

So what name for it?

"x"

Or Baby X :-)

I love the CRX,the 1.6 vti is a cracker, even the 1.6-16v is a good motor, only negative for me is that its a auto. Honda auto's of that age were not very nice to drive or that reliable.

Conpletely agreed!

Auto rubbish! :-(

Still, its an awesome engine even if X is not VTEC! :-)

4hrs return trip via Snake Pass was amazing!!!

So what name for it?

Anekin Skywalker?

Dilemma!

Original plan was:

1. Luke being SUMMER car.

- Respray in Sept then SORN him

- 12months MOT / 2 months Tax

2. BabyX as DAILY car

- 7 months MOT + 1 month Tax

But Luke more practical and rust sorted now.

BabyX a bit tight at back for kids and LOUD!

Any thoughts folks????
