So when do I start to Detail them Wayne?

Waiting for your reply on Wotsapp, Chris!

Lol

Luke not ready until after re-Spray

X is ready when dry weather and we both free!

X is worse state than Luke - but i cant justify re-spray 2 cars in one go,

So will just have to live with X as it is for now and a polish/protection from your magic detailing :-)

Ok

CU tomorrow evening Wayne

CU tomorrow evening Wayne

Shame BabyX couldn't get a leg over your drive tonight, Chris :-(

That dangling exhaust box is the problem :-(

PS: Thanks again for the COSTCO pressure :-)

Luke booked in on Wed for:

1. Air con service + decontamination

- interesting to see if work,

- as I thought NEW air con gas not suitable for older air cons :-(

2. Nitrogen for all tyres

Update:

1. Air Con

- no can do (as suspected) :-(

2. Nitrogen going in now ...

Any date for the respray yet Wayne?

Wayne, you probably need an air con specialist for the non-standard refrigerant for older cars.

Cheers Jake!

I will need to do more research!

Solved!

This is what I need to re-charge my old style air con gas ( R12 ):

Use RS24 a direct replacement:

EC7B0E20-71E9-466C-A76C-D3B1EF1353A6-118

Just need to locate a local supplier now! :-)

Would cost you about £70 at a guess, but for that they should also do a nitrogen pressure test to check it will hold the gas, and if not then should be able to hear where the leak is.

Wow - that's a lot more pricier that a normal re-charge :-(

But I guess its got to be done!

Thanks Jake :-)

This gives a bit more info. I used this guy to sort out my porker when it turned out that one of the condensers was shot - came out to my work to test the system, and then fitted new condensers on my driveway at home: http://www.autoclimatecontrol.co.uk/page7.htm
