Sorry if there is already a similar thread.

But basically,

how many that bought a Citigo bought or leased a 2nd, maybe as another car in the family or as a replacement.?

Or are you going to replace your Citigo with another when the time comes?

cheers.

george

Hi George

We've contemplated changing ours for a new one but can't seem to find a good enough deal. Some people on here been offered same payments to change into a newer vehicle but I can't seem to get anything like that so will hang on I guess. Ours is 2 years old in Oct.

I bought one for us in December and another one for my father in law the very same month..

My son has a 2 year old 5 door Elegance 60,and my wife recently bought an Elegance 5 door 75.

Both on excellent o% pcp with 3 years servicing.

My son is looking at the new Fabia with a view to upgrade next year.

It depends on the finance available at the time, and whether the Fabia has a bit more performance with good economy.

i.4 TDI perhaps?

Only on the first, maybe if they come out with a good auto (DSG), I'd change otherwise after the term lil Buck will be going.

I haven't bought another Citigo but have bought a Rapid Sport but I'm keeping the Citigo too.

Would like a Rapid Monte Carlo next, but should I really wait until the Rapid gets a phase 2 on a newer platform. In the absence of a Citigo vRS, I'd be very tempted if Renault do a Twingo RS on the new RWD platform - that has the potential to be awesome.

Got Dad to buy a Citigo in January last year, I bought mine in December.

Will replace with either a Rapid Spaceback or, if it ever gets made, a Citigo vRS.

We have Citigo and 2007 Octavia. I was ready for trade Octavia to another Citigo. My lady says no, as she needs a car for horse trailer sometimes.

Anyway, I would buy another Citigo.

swmbo got a elegance 75 last September and daughter got a elegance 60 in march

Bought our Citigo 60ps 3 door Elegance Greentech in July2012. Pick up our new Black Edition on 1/9/14.

Calling BossFox.....

Only the one... So far. But when the time comes to change the other car I'd be quite tempted to get a second. As a family of four there is very little that we currently use our Astra estate for that we can't do in the Citigo. Maybe with the addition of a roof box (or cheap camper van) for holidays!

Just bought my second one. Looked and tried every other small car but couldn't find a better deal or anything that's as well put together for the money. Plus it's the only one that does what it says mpg wise. I ordered an SE but when it turned up it didn't have the TPM even though it only arrived end of August. Cancelled that and have now gone for a Black Edition. Equally good deal but £6 a month more for a whole lot more kit - especially the 6 speakers and it does have the TPM.

Four here :-)

We bought a red 5dr sport, my father then bought an se then my niece bought a white 5dr sport. Then we bought our 2nd one (another 5dr white sport) for my daughter to go to uni.

My Skoda dealer loves me hee hee :-)

Its quite interesting comparing them, the red sport & my neices white sport (same build week) are a lot quieter than both our white sport (3months later build) and my dads se which is noisier than all 3 sports.

All 3 sports have developed the clutch click, so far the se hasn't.

We all really enjoy the cars, I'd love a citigo vrs and am disappointed they've discontinued the sport.

We are about to order 2nd Citigo tomorrow, and it's expected to arrive in january 2015. We trade our Octavia to Citigo, so soon we have 2 Citigos. Different color, but same 60hp engine as is our existing Citigo. This time it's going to be Elegance though. I don't need fog lights, but for the price of alloy wheels you get Elegance including parking sensors, so why not.

I pick up my second on Wednesday , another elegance but this time a 5 door[emoji4]

I'm very happy with my first Citigo, but if they launched a 150bhp version I would be trading in in an instant!

Now that would be interesting...

Haha I very much doubt that

I bought first elegence 60 in July 12.

Replaced it 4 weeks ago with elegence 75 plus entertainment pack and convenience pack, the new one is quieter than original this might be tyre brand change.

I also got wheel arch liners fitted so it is much quieter in wet but also in dry, also fitted insulation matting on sides of boot.

It really is as quiet as an octavia

Painted brake drums with hamerite black paint, they don't rust now, did it on my last Citigo as well they looked like new after 2 years

How well Hammerite handle heat? Or how well brake drum can transfer heat after it's painted with thick Hammerite paint?

Wouldn't be better to use heat resistant paint, or brake caliber paint.

Our Citigo is 16 months (about 19 000km) old now, and no signs of rust on brake drums. I have not painted them, but they are like new.

Emil maybe we get more rain in Scotland than you because all Citigo and Fabias brake drums here look rusty after a short time.

No need for heat resistant paint. Maybe I do not use brakes hard enough.

Today I signed an agreement to order 3rd Citigo. Plan is to trade our -13 model to new -16 model called Style. It should be about the same than Elegance is, or was actually.  :sun:
