Just wondering what people do with their old antifreeze ?

 

I am going to flush mine out and refill with new antifreeze but what do I do with the old stuff ?

Council tip should be able to dispose of it.

Don't leave it lying around for animals to drink as it causes an extremely unpleasant death.

yes thanks for the warning -  in searching the web to find out what to do with it I have come across a couple of pet /RSPCA sites reporting deaths of cats & dogs   & people getting prosecuted for leaving the stuff out on purpose

most bring centres/ tips have a disposal method. I dont know if its the same in uk, but over here they charge by the litre as its classed as hazardous waste disposal...
