Huh, what now, is it the end of August already?  No, I just meant I'm in a hurry to get back to work on a Monday morning.

 

Oh, hang on a minute... I've got the day off tomorrow.  Can't possibly imagine why...     

 

(sorry, if it's any consolation, I'm driving the Mrs crazy too.  It's going to be worse than getting the kids to sleep on Xmas Eve tonight!)

Same here. But luckily I'm working until midnight tonight so that'll take the edge off. I'll be banging down the dealer's door at 9am!!!

I am booked in at 10.00am for mine. Candy white Elegance 2.00 TDi DSG with Xonons and sunset glass.

I'm abstaining until Friday. On the upside wife and I get to take a day off and go for a pub lunch without the kids in the country (ish). First VRS, can't wait. Seems like a very long time since the test drive in December!

It will be great to see the 64 plates.. Please do share the pictures..

I have a 14 plate picked on 28th July 14. Already feels like its old.

Pick my Elegance up at 7pm after ordering mid May. Today at work is going to be a slow one!

The Good - it looks absolutely awesome, inside and out.

The Bad - the beeping when you open the powered boot from the key fob or the button on the dash.

The Ugly - despite me pointing it out when I saw it 2 weeks ago, the dealer still hadn't sorted out the chip on the front wing.

 

I'm sure I'm going to get used to it, but it feels absolutely massive compared to the 1 series... so glad I've got the all-round parking sensors!

Get someone with VCDS to enable closing with the remote and dash button and they can turn the beeps off too.
