It has just come to light that the tyres on my Elegance are cracked along the tread on the inside edges. Car has done approx. 16K miles. Has anyone else had this occur? I would recommend checking yours if you haven't already. Date code on my tyres is 1113. Size 225/45/R17.

All 4? Or are we seeing the dreaded saw toothing on the rears again ........

I have the same tyres but only at 6k miles and no issues. These Dunlops are a soft compound and you have done very well to get 16k out of them. Many have said that the Maxx's are shot at 10k miles.

10k!!, they must be driving like they've stolen it! I'm on 29k and still on original Sport Maxx GTs, still over 3mm left on the fronts, not swapped any wheels round. Rears still like new!

I would say there's signs on all four, although I swapped them around from front to rear recently in a bid to eliminate them as the source of vibration. The worse are the pair that have spent most of their life at the rear!
