Group buy of PD160 air intake

Featured Replies

OK - sorry to be a pain but new to the forum' date=' and new to the VRS. Can somebody give me the lowdown on the benefits this bit of kit offers over the standard intake for a remapped car? Only posts that a search threw up were about fitting or where to buy.

Car-wise I have ordered a Forge FMIC and a trip to REVO will be on the cards as soon as my new motor arrives and is run in a little.

Thanks.[/quote']

The cupra intake is a bigger bore pipe between the grill and the standard airbox, so in theory allows an easier flow of air into the intake. Others who have had their cars remapped have noticed a few extra BHP through this mod.

what would a 160 pd intake make to my car ie : performace wise it is a 55 plate with 90 miles on clock :)

Group buy wise - how are you guys doing this? which seat dealer are the parts coming from? The reason i ask is that i live 5 minutes away from one and was wondering if the postage would outweigh the discount! Mind, if 20 people went in on this a better deal may be had?

Probably a bit less soot if combined with a green filter and maybe a couple of BHP before remap - but those with remap have seen up to about 10 BHP extra...

Right guys.

Spoke to the chap today, he has posted items like this befor and says P&P would be around £2.

So all thoes that want one.

Payment via personal cheque (will need to clear befor i send it out)

Recorded cash in post

Paylpal = [email protected]

PM me for my address.

jlindstrom - I'll will work out the P&P for you when i get the intakes at a postoffice :)

mr. hedgehog - I've brought the units and will effectivly 'sell' them on but not making any profit at all. These are from the Chillwell garage, Nottingham

Right guy's Just recived a paypal payment but it wants me to upgrade to a Premier/Buisness account to recive card payments.

This means there is a 3.4% + 20p fee on ever card payment recived.

Total Amount: £26.00 GBP

Estimated Fee: -£1.08 GBP

Net Amount: £24.92 GBP

So if you pay by card via paypal it'll cost me £1.08

Personal accounts may still accept non-credit or debit card funded payments though limits will apply to certain payment types.

To continue to receive payments for free, make sure that the people who pay you fund their payments with their PayPal balance or with a bank account.

So its upto you guys, if you want to pay an extra £1.08 to cover the fee's then your welcome too, or pay another way?

Once again, sorry about this, i've never been a fan of paypal due to its stupidly complicated fee structure.

cav-mad-gav, you're the man! Just let me know when you get the p&p settled for .fi and I'll pm you my details. I won't mind paying that £1.08 extra to get you the dosh via paypal.

This is going to be sweet... next I'll work out the green panel filter. Luckily those are available here also so I should get one pretty fast :)

cav-mad-gav

I have sent you a payment by paypal for the total inc £1.08.

Cheers

So does that mean its still £26 if i fund it using my bank account?

just sent payment via Paypal for £26, thanks for organising this GB :)

cheers
