Auto closure

Featured Replies

Can u enable auto closure for when u lock car? Can this be done thru the vag com or is it summin u buy and plug in?

Thanxs ian

If you mean the windows close when you press the key fob lock button, it is activated by a long press of the remote fob, a long press of the unlick button opens the windows.

Releasing the buttons will stop the windows at that instant.

It is a standard feature on my L&K.

Your car will probably do this already. Mine did before looking at any coding.

Also I notice that on mine I can long press the remote button then let go and the windows go all the way up.

If you have the rain/light sensor you can get them to close if it starts raining too.

Is that a setting that can be done in Maxidot?

Yes... but it needs to be enabled first with VCDS before it shows up in maxidot.

I don't suppose you know the coding option?

yh I like to now as well

That's the one!

It then should work if the car is locked regardless of the wiper stalk position (some people say it has to be in auto but this isn't the case).

I tested it by splashing some water on the rain sensor with the car locked.

yep, both my fl cars has this enabled from the factory.

works a treat and seems to impress everyone in the office when i've parked my car on a hot day with the roof open and it closes automatically at the first drop of rain.
