Octavia Bulb Holders In Fabia?

Featured Replies

Hi there just an idea I had but when I see older octavias I noticed when the tailights are on it lights up the top, bottom and sides which look pretty cool where as on the fabias its just the bottom so it made me wonder if you could swap the bulb holders for it to work or modify the wiring? So the tailights look like this: http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/4484/skoda13.jpg on the Fabia! I done it to my old civic where i re-wired them i'll attach the photo. CheeRS!

Ooh I like this idea. The top lights are 21watt brake lights (382 bulbs), so if you changed them for 566 bulbs 21/4watt and wired them up correctly, they would serve as brake and tail lights. I don't know if the Octavia bulb holders would fit though (I'm guessing not). I might look into this myself though.

Yeah i always liked that with tailights, it was an easy mod on my civic and definetly made it look better at night

My tail lights light up the top and bottom.

The indicators and reverse lights fill both parts of the clear section too :)

Could you give details as to how you went about this, was it anything to do with korbon? Cheers

They are korbans lights IIRC

Yes they were Korban's old lights. It's all been set up with LEDs so looks fantastic :)
