[Boost Logs] Car is running poor lately!

Featured Replies

Took some boost logs as my car feels like it's running really poor lately.

Feels like its lost that oomph in 3rd gear almost completely. It has the initial lunge as if it's about to pull nice and solid, then it just ends up feeling like it's revving hard and not doing much at all boost wise, which sometimes leaves me struggling to overtake (when the overtakee does the obligatory 'boot down' mid overtake!  :dull: )

5th and 6th actually feel like the strongest gears now, which is odd.

Hopefully this shows something?

What gear are you in please?

Sorry, done it in 3rd

So that's a full pull in third with a change into fourth.

From 1500 revs in 3rd up to the red line, then letting off and dropping it into 4th gear and stopping the log. I would have trimmed the end bit off the graph but wasn't sure how

Have you checked for any fault codes?

Yup, did a scan and nothing found

You seem to be losing 0.5 bar somewhere, can you log for charge temp. as well?

Urgh, great.

Is that group 003 or 004?

The only thing left for me to visually check is the intercooler. I'm going to take it off tomorrow and have a look see if it has a crack or split in it.
