just a quick question (pd160 intake related)

Featured Replies

lads and lasses just a quick one really on my vrs i have a pd160 intake the guy who owned the car before me had fitted it i was wondering where the intake goes into the from the grille there is a flap kinda thing in there is it worth cutting that out?

I can't say if it is worth it or not as I have no evidence to substantiate it, but it's a little flap, how much restriction is there really?

It's a water deflector to prevent your engine getting a lungful, given that the standard intake is fine even with the flap, a PD160 is definitely fine. There is no restriction, it's turbocharged remember!

Or remember your pal down South when you chop your car in and donate it to me and I will donate mine to you! [emoji6]
