Painting Fabia vrs calibers

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm gonna paint my brake calibers on mynfabia vrs, any suggestions on wat pant and wat color and were I can fetch it would be most appricated, cheers michael

any hammerite

whatever colour you fancy

any DIY store

you are welcome.

have a look at this post

I did mine with hammerite and my mums Ibiza with some cheap caliper spray paint.

The finish on the sprayed one is much better (although they are 'just brakes', so is a perfect finish that important?)

But it did take a lot more prep than hammerite

Its up to you though - both are acceptable :)

Cheers guys, it for my Fabia vrs, so it's that green Im after, had a look at Hammerite and can't get anything close, also tried skoda and they don't sell it, told me it was either traffic light green or lime green

Edited by mickvrs

an exact match is hammerite smooth green

However it was discontinued a long time ago.

Tins do come up for sale on here when people do their brakes realise they have 80% of a tin left and there's a market for it.

For example see here

Just curious, what did you get in the end and is it a close match to original colour?

Wouldn't mind knowing myself... I need to refurb the calipers on the Wife's vRS when I install new discs and pads and she wants me to paint the calipers but wants the same colour!
