hi all, ive browsed through the forum but not found a thread similar, but apologies if ive overlooked one.

 

i own a 53 plate fabia estate (petrol 1.2)  

 

my car has recently developed an issue where my wiper blades are parking in the middle of the screen at the end of each and every different sequence, also when i start the car up they come up to rest in the middle of the screen even if the switch is set to off. Can anyone give me any adive to the problem please ?

Dodgy motor possibly?

ive ordered a new wiper rack system so will give that a try, thx

fitted the new wiper wrack system and this has fixed the problem. a bit fiddly removing and replacing, whole job took about an hour  

got the rack system of ebay for £8 happy days

Strange, I would also have thought that it would be a motor assembly problem - but there you go!

it may have been the motor, i just fitted the whole thing including the motor that came on the rack
