Look what some bar steward did to brother in laws octy

Featured Replies

Brother in law couldn't get his car in the car park at work so parked in street and someone sprayed white paint over the back. (badge was taken off whilst parked outside his house on an earlier occasion)

Reckon he'll get it off with T-Cut or not?

waynekers(no offense wayne ;) )

can't belive people do this, absolutely no respect for other peoples property

I honestly would break the person's arm's if I saw them doing this to my car, would f**king break both of them, and leave them in agony...

Hope a cheap solution is worked out :)

T cut should work.

If not mate I can arrange my bodyshop guru to have a look at it.

Thats just ****ing 5h1t that. Things like that really pi$$ me off, no need for it and as Ben says no respect for others property

I would cut their balls off !!! :finger:

It's so bloody annoying - I was furious when mine was keyed last year. :thumbdwn:

I would spray the tw@s from head to foot with anti-vandal paint and stencil '****' across their forehead with illuminous yellow paint.

T@ssers :(

Hope they got caught on CCTV or something. Pretty much agree with the follow-up posts  really annoying. Had a similar experience with my Rover 100 - and that paint would not come off & cost me the sale of the vehicle

Unbelievable! That's terrible, really hope it comes off without too much hassle. Things like this just stagger me, as to why someone would want to do that. Whereabouts in the UK did this happen?

Steve

What people don't realise is that if you pay your road tax, you are legally entitled to park at the side of any public road, subject to the exceptions in the Highway Code. Vandalism of cars parked in the street was happening somewhere up this way, and it turned out it was an elected local Councillor that was doing it. He got caught after someone put up CCTV and caught him in the act! :D

We have a real problem with parking where we live (not helped by some households having THREE cars  ), but it's never come to that... :thumbdwn:

Thanks all for your 'suggestions':orb_bonk: and words of understanding. Guess he'll try T-Cut first but it's gone over the Octavia chrome bit - maybe he'll have to remove it and be 'debadged'. He's half way there anyhow thanks to someone prising the rear badge off some time ago. He reckons if he replaces it it'll just encourage them to do it again.

It was parked in Kettering, Northants.

Must admit, whenever I return to my car my first thought is to check it looks OK. Won't go certain places if I can't park safely. You never know where it's going to happen though do you?

10,000 volts through the door handle should come as standard on new cars! OK till you forget and end up across the road yourself with hair on end

Tonight son's just gone to his car and found a 4" dent and scratches while parked where we were working. He's not happy!

I'd just go careful with the T-cut. You will need to do quite a bit of polishing to remove the spray and this means you will cut through the normal body paint quite a lot I would have thought. I'd take a bit of advice from a specialist, i.e. graffiti removal type business, have a chat and see what they would recommend. A telephone call would be free advice....

i think 'chips away' (yellow pages)do graffiti removal for cheap. bar stewards do so many bad things i always hear of them doing awful things lol

but i feel his pain same thing happened with my saxo 3 times. its totally gutting. i have now decided a collective name for these people 'THRUSH' because they are irritable cu*ts :mad::mad:

I had the same thing done to my black MR2 Turbo a few years ago, I guess it all depends what type of paint they have sprayed it with but mine came off quite easily with a bit of t-cut and some polish, i'd hesitate to say use thinners or acetone as if your not quick at getting it off you may damage the paint underneath but as a last resort it would work.

chrome/metal polish should take care of the the badges ok.

thats terrible news, i really hope it gets fixed easily enough and doesnt cost a small fortune

I'd knock all their teeth out then tell them to pick them all up with their broken arms :D Whoever did that is a total Banker. Said with fingers in mouth!!!!!

its clearly going to be kids, i'd tell their parents and ask them to coff up the cash for a respray. Unfortunatly that wont happen and its too late to do anything about it now so just grin and bear it i'm afraid!

Has anyone looked in to wireless camera technology, i thought about it some time ago when my car was vandelised, some sort of paint remover on every panel. Put the camera in your car and plug the reciever in to your tv/pc in the house anyone does anything your recording it in the house, maybe a motion sensor of some sort as well. Your probably talking less than a hundred quid!
