I thinking of buying a RARB for my Octavia VRS MK1,

 

Think of buying:

 

neuspeed 28mm rear sway bar

 

Whiteline rear antiroll Bar 24mm

 

which one is best and the best place to buy them?

 

Any help would be brilliant

I think Whiteline always get the thumbs up.

I have the Neuspeed fitted to mine.

If you're going to upgrade the front, then the Neuspeed is better - though having said that, I haven't upgraded my front ARB and it feels fine.

If just the rear, then the Whiteline will be fine.

Best possible set up

23mm r32 farb

Neuspeed 28mm rarb

Or the eibach 25mm rarb ( no hang, but no adjustment so its option is...... Just stiff as fook )

Ps, whiteline is good but hangs like saggy nuts

why is R32 frontARB 23mm an upgrade?

Isn;t standard 23mm also?Mine is 23mm stock on front

Stock is usually 19mm pos 21

23mm is from the mk4 R32

So unless its been changed once upon a time bud

Its a very popular and well used upgrade, so its defo a upgrade, not oem fitter

It will depend where u measure, its in the middle, off the car the R32 is a chunky beast compared to the shst on it as standard

If you've already got the 23mm on the front you defo need to do the RARB!!!!!

That was lucky, every other vrs owner had to buy theirs

As above, if thats the case u want a 28mm rear

Two weeks ago I have replaced the bushes with Lemfoerder for 23mm bar specification and fit perfectly

I've got my nuespeed RARB up for sale in the for sale part if anyone is interested

Thanks, hard to tell as the hole size would be different.

 

Think my front ARB is probably past it so hope to do this.  Hopefully shouldnt be too big to cause the Whiteline one issues?

On the pics it shows picture number 2 as the non vrs anti roll bar that has the stabiliser links that link to the wishbones, not the vrs anti roll bar that links to the suspension strut. From what I've read this set up isn't as good as the r32/LCR/tt and 1u vrs set up. Although interesting that they are 23mm thick...

2a in the picture shows the vrs roll bar and states 19mm. They are different which is where the confusion has come from. Hope this helps
