My First Service 2012 Yeti Elegance 2WD

Featured Replies

With my Ford Focus, the car was collected, serviced and cleaned under the scheme they operate.

What can I expect from Skoda? I signed up to their scheme.

Probably the same but it does depend on the dealer. In my case I get the same service as that from a more local Skoda Service Agent.

Hughes (Aylesbury) willingly collect and deliver.  Well, they have done for first and second services, anyway.  No problems.

In passing:  Second service, they gave warning advisories on all tyres, including the emergency spare on NSR!  By the book (full marks  ), even though they knew that a new set were to be fitted elsewhere the following day.

Collect and deliver or they lend me another Yeti at Mitchell Skoda :)

Don't let them wash it, Industrial Truck cleaner with a sponge.      :x

I have my Yeti serviced at Mitchells Chester - 1st class service.

If it is a 2012 service it will be due its 2nd service, not first.

You're right, cost £240, told to ignore the letter I was sent

and wait until the service light comes on?

I think nearly all dealers will collect and return your car if it's a reasonable distance.

Also a mini valet is now part of the service.

It's a cheaper option for the dealership to collect and deliver rather than lend you a vehicle.

I bet mine wouldn't!

160 mile, 3 hour round trip!!  :giggle:

But they do offer me a free loan car or a lift into town, some very nice coffee, and a friendly smile.

Thank you Sinclair Skoda.
