Thanks for your advice Toxcvrs. Would you have to get the loom, ecu etc. The  Holy Grail is a yellow 55 plate sdi with 70,000 on the clock...It's ok to dream...but if the real world won't let it happen I just thought I may have to do it myself-as to why an sdi-simple....veg oil

You can do it but you'd need wiring gearbox, ECU so not worth it!
