Heated Front Seats (leather) on vRS

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

Now the early morning's are getting chillier started to use the heated front seats (leather) ; they seem a little different from previous cars in the areas that are heated and I just want to check with others if they're as they should be.

Basically the lower half of the backrest is heated nicely, and the part of the seat which is stitched (under your butt) seems ok; but the front half of the seat (no stitching, where your thighs rest) is not heated - is this correct ... ?

many thanks, Steve

That's the same as my vRS. I'm sure my previous Audi with heated seats was the same.

thanks for your reply; looks like mine are as they should be; although the heat further forward would be good !

Yes bum and lower back warmers only. Sure most VAG heated seats are like this nowadays

That's the same as the heated seats in my Elegance, which have had plenty of use this morning.
This is the first car I've had with leather and I definitely wouldn't want to go for unheated ones through winter.

It should be the Law, leather seats have to be heated!

And also linked to the air-con when parked in direct sunlight and when wearing shorts! :D

Wouldn't that be great, air flow through the seats, I'm sure its on the S class

VW (and probably Audi) have it - although it's just fans in the seats, not linked to the AirCon.  My dad's Passat has them - 'climate seats' I think they're called.

A premium feature to differentiate VW/Audi from Skoda/Seat no doubt.

You can get ventilated seats on the Vauxhall Cascada. Very handy on a convertible that might have been parked in the sun with the roof down.

That's right the i spec'd vw cc gt with climate seats with massage function and nearly bought it.

Heating pattern same as the Superb too - lower back and butt. L&K Superb also gets ventilated seats.
