QUESTIONS RE DASH LED'S and starting issues.

Featured Replies

Hi

Q,  should my car (2001 1.9 tdi) have a working EML(engine symbol) on the dash display,  2nd is the absence of a battery symbol LED a simple issue with the load wires on the alternator broken  (it flickered today once for a millisecond then nothing even with engine off and ignition on)

I'm having issues with starting currently, if the car is left overnight  it wont crank next morning, just various ticking/clicking sounds as systems power up,   having to bump start it.

Thank you.

Get the alternator wire sorted and go from there!
