What time did you get?

  • Author

It looks like 7 [ish] 0-60 and probably 16-17 seconds to 100mph ?????

Seemed very brisk at the time - I think a FMIC has to come at some point though so i can maintain such briskness at all times !

Josh has kindly offered to host the vid, so you should be able to view it shortly.

Isn't that the same video you showed us before?? And you said yours is one of the good-'uns'??

*Oh no wait that's right, I just read your signature...:D

No worries!

:)

My computer doesnt recognize the file. What do I do?

If I switch the ASR off I just sit there spinning the wheels in the first 3 gears!!

It's difficult even when the ASR is on!!

Time to change the tyres me thinks. Mind you, they will be dead by the end of Sat! ;)

Seems damn quick to me! What sort of distance do you think you'd travelled by the time you reached a ton? Reckon it was pretty much a 1/4 mile?

Also interested to know what kind of revs you gave each gear? ;)

Looks like a touch less than 4.5Krpm shift up.

I seem to remember my speed being about 98mph on the 1/4 time so allowing for the speedo to be out abit I'd say your most likely hit a ton in the 1/4 mile distance

I think mike is right, around 1/4 mile to hit a tonne. According to the RR graph it pulls around 60hp more than stock @ 4.5 rpm.............

When I left chiptuning on Monday, I was being followed by one of the chaps from Volvo T5 forum in his 310hp V70 T5 manual. I managed to pull away from him lower down but by 80 I had stopped pulling and he began to inch towards me. The average 300+hp Volvo T5 will do a 15 sec 1/4. My auto managed a 14.7. So it is there or there abouts.

Opened with "RealPlayer" on my machine.

It's a 3gp file from a camera phone Mil, RealPlayer should play it...:)

Nokia mulitmedia player will also play it ... comes as part of the Nokia PC suite and saves you installing that horrible RealPlayer ;)

If you let me know when you are about in Chesterfield, you can take it for a spin mate - see what you think
