Decisions, decisions... Citigo or Alto

Decisions, decisions... Citigo or Alto.

I've been without a car now for 8 months (long story). Anyways, looking to buy a new (or newish) - economical but okay on the motorway . I've narrowed my search down now to either a Skoda Citigo or a Suzuki Alto. Air conditioning is preferred so I'm looking at an Alto SZ3 (£6999) or Skoda SE model (£9060) and upwards.

Any opinions? Thoughts on longevity etc. Value for money.

Any opinions appreciated.

Cheers guys and gals :S

Shifting away from the Alto. They are being discontinued as of next year. Don't want to have issues with parts etc. and there appear to be very few Suzuki dealers if (specialist) repairs need to be done.

Maybe a Citigo or Fabia...

We shall see.

I've driven both,  One is like driving a tin of (value) beans.  The other is a VW.

The Alto is made by Maruti in India and the quality is just what I'd expect i.e. there is none :D

Autotrader today

New SEAT Mii Toca   - Aircon, alloys  £7995

New Skoda Citigo SE - Aircon Alloys   £7995

Pre Reg VW Up start even cheaper   : )

The Suzuki Alto is now available for £5995 (lowest SZ spec).

The Citygo, Mito and Up! are quite a bit more expensive, and rightly so, they are a better car.

Any reason why you haven't shortlisted the latest Hyundai i10. These are getting rave reviews in the media recently, better than the three VAG models in fact.
