Uprated kevlar clutch kit for 2.0TDI PD140 BKD BD170 BMN 550Nm+

Featured Replies

Hi,

here we have uprated PD40/PD170 kevlar clutch kit to fit onto BKD/AZV/BMN 2.0TDI engines

The kit contains:

refurbished clutch disc with new kevlar pads

refurbished 2.5TDI pressure plate (the strongest available)

refurbished dual mass flywheel

it will handle 550Nm+ I think up to 600Nm if the torque curve won't be to steep

it's only £450 delivered and comes with 12 months warranty against manufacturing defects.

It will require bedding in for 100-500 miles depending on your driving habits and road conditions (city/motorway).

If you do not wish to change the flywheel I can offer the kevlar disc and pressure plate for just £250 delivered.

well according to ETKA there are 2 clutches fitted on BKD,BMN, AZV, CEGA (I believe CEGA is the CR170 you have - please check your logbook) Sachs or LUK and ETKA says please look at the old part before ordering a new one so I guess there is no way of saying which one have you got exactly however if you are going change the whole thing with DMF it should fit either way... if you could find the engine code and the gearbox code it would help a lot...

Wouldn't a 2008 be a PD rather than a CR?

Don't want to be a thread Necro, but can you still get hold of these kits xman750? My DMF/Clutch might be on its way to the scrapyard in the sky and Im getting the feelers out for a replacement.

Does it need to be a LUK flywheel for this kit to work? I'm assuming all i'd need extra will be the csc and the flywheel bolts along with your pressure plate, friction surface and the new dmf?

A drive out today has made me bring forward my replacement plans haha!

yes the pressure plate is LUK and won't fit Sachs DMF, you will only need new bolts and release bearing and the DMF of course

cheers
