Try one of the Broskoda insurers like Chris Knott who specialise in modified :)

Adrian Flux insure me.  No problems with the turbo.  They like "built not bought" by the way.  They would take a more risk averse approach if I had just gone out and bought the mongrel but as I have built it up over 10 years or so, they like that.

expensive? ive always been on trade so aint declared mods lol but think its about time

Whilst I don't have that turbo, I have a few modifications and I'm with Flux. Sky are very good too.

Most insurers won't take much notice of which turbo you have fitted, they will want to know bhp, then they calculate the insurance on the % of higher bhp your running than standard. :)

Flux charge me just over £500 for the mongrel. Agreed value £7,500, full no claims, good postcode, etc.

I am also with Flux and totally agree with Coskev and Devonutopia, they aren't too fussed on the turbo side of things, just want to know the power increase.

I have just renewed mine two days ago with Flux, all mods declared and power increase declared, due to hybrid, since last year, protected NCB and key cover cost me £425.

I'm quite happy with that considering all of my modifications.
