BMW M4 New Car Protection Detail

Featured Replies

So today I went to see a family friend Nick who had picked up this new M4 on Wednesday. Picture from the dealership that I was sent:

I was very much looking forward to this detail as been trying to build my portfolio up with some more high end cars.

The car was in a very good state as you would expect when I arrived.

After a quick back lane blast.....

AF Citrus power was used on some dead flys at the front. I then mixed G3 body detox shampoo with my snowfoam 50:50 and foamed the car.

Rinsed then washed with G3 again to remove any wax that was on the car.

Dried the car. Then used Auto Finesse Iron out revealing hardly any contamination. Car was then clayed with a chemical guys fine grade clay mitt.

Checked the car over with my swirl finder and found some imperfections in the carbon fibre and a few scratches (sorry no before and afters!). Polished them on a DA with lake country microfiber pad and Sonax EX04-06.

Wiped down with filler killer then applied ArtDeShine ArtDeSicko. 3 layers in total.

Wheels sealed with Auto Finesse Mint Rims and tyres dressed with Megs endurance. Exhaust tips polished with Autosol.

Sorry for the essay! Pictures....

Really pleased with the outcome and loved the car, especially in the 'Yas Marina Blue'.

Thanks for looking.

Awesome, well done & what a lovely colour.

Car is lovely, looks very slick.

Well done.

Fantastic work and car.

Would love to get my hands on something like this.  Brand new virgin motor!   I've done a couple of Bentley Continentals and one RS6 but they were all "well used" and were in need of more than just protecting sadly. :(   It's good working on really nice motors though.  Just takes some balls to wet sand a Bentley :D

Don't apologise for the essay, the write up helps others and shows what you did - With detail on why you did helps others even more.

Top job. One very happy M4 owner!

Nice car!!

Great work

Well done

Awesome work Ben - nice product selection used as well.

Always good to see something different mate :)

No interior pics?

Keep up the great work!

Looks like a beast of a motor and 10 times better after you had worked your magic, top effort. Looks like I am firmly in the minority but have to say the colour does nothing for me. Different in the flesh maybe.
